Here's an alternative to winterizing your engine every year. The usual procedure involves flushing, draining, spraying - plus a lot of work in cold, damp weather not to mention crawling around in cramped spaces. The Bensaco heater has enough power to keep your engines from freezing through the harshest winters, yet doesn't cost much to run. It's ideal if you keep your boat in the water year-round, and use it during warm spells. Simply turn them off and go. When you get back, Plug it in, and walk away. No hassle. You'll use your boat longer into cool weather, and earlier in the spring. It's a forced hot air heater, with non-sparking elements and fan. A thermostat turns the heater on at 45 degrees F., and off when the compartment reaches 55 degrees. Heavy 16 gauge aluminum cover is powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Runs on 120 volt AC, and cost 6-8 cents and hour to run (depending on local utility rates).
