About The Author
Swiss artist Monique Felix studied graphic arts at l'Ecole des Arts Appliques in Lausanne. She has illustrated more than 40 children's books-including Creative Editions' Mouse Books series, Tuba Lessons, Hundreds of Fish, Hansel and Gretel, and My Shadow-and received such honors as the Octogone Prize from the International Center of Children's Literature in France.

This is a very lovely little book. It has no words, only beautifully-painted pictures. The little mouse scampers over a blank book and carefully chews away at the page, revealing the ocean underneath.
