Reader Reviews I have become a big fan of David Pelham and his pop-ups, especially the cat and mouse ones. This book is great to look at---the seaside animal pop-ups are amazingly well done and really surprising at times. However, the book is a little odd and a touch disturbing---all about a sister putting disgusting non-food items in her brother's snack to take on a boat, out of jealousy I guess! The text is rhyming at times and a little forced. I finished the book feeling as if I wish the pictures could somehow be disconnected from the text, and the sea animals left out of food!
