Category I automatically-deployable 406 MHz EPIRB features hydrostatic release which automatically deploys if the vessel sinks to approximately 4 meters or 13 feet. UV Raygard treated high impact polycarbonate case. Transmits simultaneously on 406 MHz (COSPAS-SARSAT) and 121.5 MHz SAR homing frequency. 5-year limited warranty. Lithium battery has a 5 1/2 year replacement life (11year useful life) and a 48-hour operating life.
