The 3 1/2'' x 3 1/2'' screen has a pixel count of 240 x 240, combined with Garmin's See-Thru technology, lets you see incredible detail. Four level gray, super twist numeric (STN) screen displays information clearly in all light conditions. See-Thru, combined with the 400 watt RMS, 200 kHz transducer separates fish returns from thermoclines or bottom structure, such as rock piles or stumps, allowing you to find where the fish really hang out - down to 1,000 feet. Bottom whiteline figures out the bottom composition for you, and split screen 2X and 4X split screen zooms make sure you don't miss a thing. Alarms can be set for shallow, deep, or fish size. You can set the Fishfinder 240 like a flasher for real-time display of fish returns. Two-level backlighting lets you set just the right brightness when night fishing.
